Well I satnd corrected! Sorry about that, I remember reading a lengthy history of guitar amp circuits and I thought that's how it went, I googled around for a bit trying to find it, but no luck. Sorry for the disinfo and thanks for setting me straight!

gah someone hates the tube screamer?
i'm no guitar snob but that pedal is my go to distortion... it can sound really really nice complimenting an already somewhat driven amp...
