Some advice
I did a search on this forum about both of these. I'm looking for dedicated rock drum overheads mics. I've narrowed it down to The Josephsons C42 and the Groove Tubes Gt44... I am close micing everything... Looking to get a nice rocking cymbal and some drum sound to blend into the close miced kit.
I know the GT mic is discontinued but I've read good things... The C42 seems to be everyones pick as well
Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful.. Oh The overheads would be going through Hardy twin jensen preamps which has a larger than life clean sound.
