input/output aux master
quite a few different modules...
and no you don't need an output to make a working strip

Alright, so basically an input module, or an output module could be used. I guess you'd just need different parts. What do most people convert?

you want an input module...
i don't think the output module would work as a micpre...
could be wrong here....

Just incase anyone is interested, an awesome output transformer replacement is the Cinemag CMOQ-2 series.

CMOQ-2L = half steel/half nickel
CMOQ-2S = 100 percent steel

By the way, any signal in the original board what just routed through one output transformer on it's way out.
The three transformers in each buss/output module were for one output, another redundant output that was exactly the same, and a monitor output.

So nothing was ever going through two or three transformers in series or anything.

i've been waiting to check out the chandler germanium also...they were supposed to ship on 12/01/05 but are delayed because of "missing parts" hmmm?...now they say 01/06...i've seen them listed for an introductory price of $800.00 plus the power supply ...waiting to hear back about getting one to demo...i'll keep you posted...
