Royer mods. . .
Lots of stuff. . .but it's easier to throw it in one thread. . .
First. . .since Mojave Audio is no longer selling kits for MXL modifications, are there definative parts lists, pcb layouts, and schematics somewhere? (i'm talking about the MXL 2001 and the MXL 603)
Next section. . .doing some searching on the forum, i noticed someone said that the 603 and the 990 have the same capsule. If that's true. . .i'm ASSUMING that you could do the Royer 603 mod on this mic for a completely different (and usable) sound?

A lot of "unusable gear" has proved to be very "modable" lately. It would be nice to have a resource for all of this stuff. I'd be happy to host these mods on some of my serverspace (traffic permitting). Anyone have any of this info? I have most of the Oktava mod info, but the Royer info seems to be slipping through my fingers. All of my research points me to Mojave audio which no longer has info or kits (i should have been interested when they did!!)
