I saw this guy open for/accompany Andrew Bird last night. I got so excited I bought a couple of his cd's. His proccess is obviously key to his results. It appears to be very make-it-work-and-dont-wake-the-baby, but the results are incredible. He is on Anticon, but not really hip-hop. A visit to his website is also very rewarding.

I was surprised at his sound after finding out he was on Anticon, but in many ways he fits in perfectly with those guys. Steve the Cat is such a beautiful track, and I can't to hear his track on the new Jel album either.
And if you haven't already, check out this brilliant video: http://www.anticon.com/dosh.mov

He's a darlin' of CityPages (Twin Cities main art rag).
Here's a bunch of Dosh articles/blog entries:

I have yet to see him live. I think his recorded stuff is somewhat interesting, but not really my speed (literally, not figuratively).
