2006 Pacific Northwest Studio Summit Tickets Now On Sale

The Pacific Northwest Chapter of The Recording Academy in conjunction with the Producers & Engineers Wing presents the 6th Annual Pacific Northwest Studio Summit Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Experience Music Project.

The event features a keynote interview with Joe Chicarelli, producer and engineer for musical legends from Tori Amos to Frank Zappa, a conversation with producer Mike Clink known for his work with Guns N? Roses, Van Halen and Metallica and workshop, Mastering: The Mystical Science, by mastering legend Bernie Grundman who?s worked on recordings by Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, The Carpenters and many, many others.

Other scheduled panels include a look at the all-important subject of today?s changing master delivery and archiving standards for digital recording featuring Steve Smith from Avastor Hard Drives and Rick Seneschal from Microsoft Studios. Throughout the day, GC Pro will provide hands on demonstrations of some of the newest recording equipment.
