question concerning digital in's and out's

Post by Alias@anticon.com » Wed Mar 01, 2006 7:34 am

so I have a Focusrite TwinTrak Pro....I says it has a DAC built in to it....I've clicked around on the Focusrite website to see if I can answer this question I have, but no dice....

I've always ran the sound out of the TwinTrak to a stereo pair of in's in my Motu 828....I recently bought a digi002, and noticed it has some digital in's and out's.....is it possible to run the sound I'm recording from the TwinTrak out of the digital out into the digital in of the Digi002? any help would be greatly appreciated......

should be no problem at all. just hook 'em up and the 002 should recognize the digital inputs. once you figure it out, then do some sort of test to see if the converters in the focusrite are actually any better than those in the 002....
