LOMO 19A-18

Post by hogfish » Fri Mar 10, 2006 3:15 pm

Just got one of these.Anybody know what the deal is with the PSU? It came with the crazy 220V plug, and I opened it up to see If there was an internal switch maybe to change it to 110.There is no switch, but there is a fuse socket for both 220 and 110,with the 220V socket now in use. If i switch from the 220 to 110 socket, will I be able to use the mic? Or do I need a stepdown trans? Also does anybody know where to get Mic Stand Clips? The guy packed one with the mic, but it is for a KM 84, and does not fit on the mic body. Thanks for any Help........

Mine have switches in the powers supplies. I also have clips that came with mine, but those Audio Technica universal shockmounts should work just fine. I imagine that some of the Beyer clips, like for the M201 ought to fit, as well.

No problem! Those AT clips rock. They're like the spring-loaded universal type clips that you've seen a million places, but they're in shock mounts. They'll work on a whole bunch of different mics. From what I recall, they're also relatively inexpensive, as shockmounts go.
