Awesome! I wish there was more of that type of stuff giving local artists exposure. And not just music.
Back in the 90's the big movie chain in Portland played music from local unsigned rock bands before the movie started.

you know any city that has a friggin statue on the street of Jimi Hendrix is bound to do some cool shit. My city has statues of George Washington and Laguardia. Seattle has a statue of Jimi Hendrix AND a 10 foot troll under a bridge. Of course that place is cool.

Dave, the sun always shines in that area west of the Cascades. You can actually see it from downtown, you'd just need to drive over there.
