Tucson Ride?

Post by TapeOpAndy » Fri Dec 02, 2005 6:04 pm

Should we organize a Tape Op motorcycle ride before or after the conference? I've never been to Tucson, but I've heard the riding around Tucson is amazing... and that a dual-sport for both asphalt and trail is the way to go.

I grew up in Tucson and had a motorcycle while I lived there. It is a REALLY great place for riding. Just beware of sand on the road.

I am in. Nothing like cruising down speedway blvd past all the car dealerships...
We can go to the red garter.... AND circle K every 28 feet.

Sounds rad...

Actually, a ride out into the desert would be fun.

There's a Harley rental place just out of Tucson...... may also be Triumohs somewhere, but I don't know if you can rent a Trump...... hey, we could all ship our bikes down?

How about a long ride from NY? Talk about Iron Butt.....

EveAnna Manley and I will be riding to the conference from scenic Chino, CA... she's lending me her FX and riding her hawk.

No lid law, desert; mountains... does life get any better than that?

Tecate with lime at the end of the ride perhaps?

I just bought a brand new Honda CBR600F4i last weekend. A ride to AZ for Tapeopcon sounds like a great time! If you guys twist my arm a bit I might be able to scrape up the cash to go.
