This is a question for Larry, Craig, and/or John I guess......

I'm just curious about how you choose who you're going to invite to be panelists at Tape Op Con? Just wondering who gets the honors and why......

Thanks, and of course, keep up the fine work.

Well... people we meet, interview, work with, admire, who email us, who attend and impress us, who write for the mag, who do cool work we hear about...

It's many different sources. The best way to not get asked is to never attend any but say you'll come if we only make you a panelist. The best way to become a panelist is to come attend and make an amazing impression on everyone by contributing to the discussions and such (Mark Rubel springs to mind).

I'm done with this year's selection. It took ages to compile names, confirm people, etc. We're still dealing with registering them...

They key to remember is that it's probably a lot more random than anyone ever guesses in the end!

Emailed you.

BTW, I love the way your studio looks. I almost did the "dixie witch" record there for Small Stone.... funny...
I will have to do something there sometime... The place really looks nice. The new (ish) site looks great too!
