Storing old Tape Op issues

Post by Marlowe » Wed May 17, 2006 6:35 am

I have all of the Tape Op back issues and wanted to store them in a better way than have been (in a crate). What I really want are those binders (that used to be real common) that held a years worth of issues using rails and a binder. I can't find these anywhere and all I see are those lame magazine storage boxes you can find at Staples, etc.

Anyone?

I'm not sure, but check out Bags Unlimited http://www.bagsunlimited.com/cart/browse.asp?subcat=105 and see if they have something.

Libraries often have these sorts of binders as well. You might ask where they get their supplies from.

IKEA Magazine Files. Look under "Secondary Storage".

Are there temperature and humidity requirements for storing TapeOp? I've been keeping mine between 40 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit just to be safe.

Just bake 'em for a few hours, that will fix the print to the page long enough to re-read it.
