Somebody invested some serious time on the diffusers pictured in the Digidesign Icon add on page 1 of the current tapeop....holy shit! I hope each beam was hand placed and assembled. Who does this? It is beautiful. Wow.

That's George Massenberg's room in Nashville. Do a search over at Gearslutz.com. There was a really involved thread there the George himself explained a lot of the design and construction of the room. It's really amazing, none of the rods are the same length and you can swap consoles and console position in the room without there being an acoustic/sonic problem.
