We really, really need a Paul Westerberg interview......

Listening to Mono again now and dammit, I need a Westy interview. Dude holed himself up in a makeshift basement studio and started recording himself, and in the process, revitalized his songwriting and his career. I want to know how he did it.

Anyone with me?

I've heard he can be a cantankerous sort so maybe that's the reason? I know this request has come up in the past........

Those of us who live near Minneapolis can listen to his sister's radio show every weekday afternoon. That's as close as I've ever heard to an interview with Paul Westerberg. Her name is Mary Lucia. She is fabulous.

I contacted his label when Mono came out to try and get an interview for just that reason, and they never got back to me.

No surprise I guess. Who am I? Heh.

I loves me some Westerberg though.
