HILLARY JOHNSON! :lol:
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Someone lost a tooth and punctured a lip because they wanted to dunk Fletcher so bad they hit the target with their hand (instead of a softball) and the arm flew back and hit their face. Hopefully our only main injury here.

Holy crap! I missed that. I did see Fletcher get into it in the gift shop with some yuppie couple giving him crap about riding a motorcycle without a helmet. Pretty funny. I think he said something like "I'd rather be dead than picking gravel out of my ass for weeks". :lol:

Michael Romanowski was definitely the best throw at the show. I think he succeded with three dunks out of five balls.

Definitely not too many athletic types at the show (least of all me).

Nope.

Though, while I was in Bob Westons MS thing I noticed that Albini was wearing a digital watch...after the class I asked him;

"Why is Mr. Analog wearing a digital watch?"

He looked at me...& then the watch...back to me..then says;

"I don't have to listen it" and walks off into the sunset...

Crazy. That's like a scene out of The Omen where someone trys to hurt Damien and ends up getting butchered in the process.

re: the guy who lost a tooth

Post by Mark O'Connor » Mon Jun 26, 2006 6:04 pm

I had a good point of observation when this event occured.

After missing the target a few times, and in answer to Fletcher?s taunts "will somebody get a real fuckin man to throw the ball here! Jesus!" the dude ran straight at the target thing. Everybody cheered as Fletcher got drenched (and lost his glasses?).

Then I noticed the guy who hit the target (illegally) on his hands and knees. I went over, "are you ok?"

"No" came the reply.

Blood was dripping from his nose and 2 of his teeth got chipped. Lots of people came to his aid. But the good news is that they were porcelain teeth anyway, so ...er... no harm done?

A dark moment, but in retrospect, hilarious.

moral of the story:
Do NOT mess with Fletcher.

LET'S DUNK PHIL SPECTOR!

What? he's busy? Doing what? Oh. Damn. Too bad...would have loved to see that wig floating on the surface of the water.

I was hangin' with one of the ladies from the WAM contingency (can't remember her name) before the dunk got started and she was just fuckin' NAILING that target. Amazing arm.

When dunk time came she had disappeared off somewhere with her pals unfortunately. Things would have been different I assure you.
