Check out this studio!!!
http://www.phantomcenter.com/
This is my studio and the site is brand new. Check it out. Still needs a few tweaks but you'll get the idea.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Meriphew - we are on the south side of lake union, close to downtown. Near the I-5 / Mercer exit.
Thanks for the comments. I'm very happy with the site.

Wow! How hip! Shawn, you come across as so much more modest than you should. That looks like a really hip place and you've got some cool creds. (I need to hang with you more often!) Cool room and cool gear. I love this:
"Can you ride a skateboard in a studio? You can at ours."
I also love the "fun"section of your gear list.
Excellent! Congratulations! Are you by any chance planning on moving to NC so I can book some time in your room?

Chris - thanks for the compliments. I don't like to brag, I want my work to speak for itself. If you're ever around my neck of the woods, look me up. I'm afraid I won't be getting to NC any time soon. Although, I hear it's nice.
Fight the good fight,

Re: Check out this studio!!!
great design!!!! you also have quiet the impressive client list.
i was going to suggest that you should put up some samples of work you've done in mp3 format. it's always helpful to someone considering recording there if they can hear the final product of something that has been done there.

Blue - there are mp3's on some of the linked sites on the client list. Check them out.

Re: Check out this studio!!!
the only problem with that is, it would be hard to tell which mp3s are done at your site or not. for example, i see you've done work for dave matthews, but WHICH work exactly? you didn't record ALL their albums, did you? if not, how are the visitors to your website supposed to know a reference of your exact work just because you link them to client's websites (which may have work done by several different engineers at various studios over time)?Shawn1272 wrote:Blue - there are mp3's on some of the linked sites on the client list. that was my main point... it's just a suggestion though.

Re: Check out this studio!!!
Blue - I see what you mean. I'll look into getting some sounds up on my site. Some of those clients were people we rented gear to, some of them recorded at the studio, some we did location recording with in clubs. Also, I'm guessing it might be some sort of legal thing to host major label stuff on my site. Especially now that the major labels are fanatical about copyright protection. That's something I don't even want to deal with.
As far as Dave Matthews, if you are curious, he came into my studio to do some pre-production on his new solo record (which is amazing, IMHO). Unfortunately, I don't think they (Dave, producer, etc.) kept anything that they did at my place. We also rented a bunch of gear to them to record the orchestra tracks. He was a paying client so I listed him as such.
If you want to check out some sounds from my studio go to www.andrewnorsworthy.com , go to the music page, and check out his last 3 records. All done at my place by me.
In the mean time, I will look into adding some mp3's. I know nothing about web stuff, I'll have to talk to my web guy.

Roman - killer studio, what exactly were you talking about? the studio?
