I really dug the Recording Recipes article on the trash can. I hope it will encourage people to be a little more unique when making records. I think we need that these days.

I thought that was really great too. Gets the creative juices flowing to break out of preconceived notions of how things should be recorded. Can't get more DIY then garbage can reverb!

Yeah, I was just thinking about this today. When company comes I'm goign to turn it upside and put a blanket over it to disguise it as a table :D

I agree. I always feel that when it comes to something sounding good or cool, I will always take cool. It's not hard to make something sound good. 8)
