Link to a 238 involved tune called Blinded
Just a rythym gtr track recorded on a 238s to honor Kayagum and Tatertot on their historic sale/purchase
No, it's (the track) not all that, but I had to do something constructive after the "ignore" thread, lol, and this guitar had just been given back to me after 12 years in a coastal climate and the pickguard was making a cool sound...
(For those who care, it was an unplugged 70's buzzy twangy resonant tele miced with a tapeop ribbon through a hamptone jfet into the 238s, then back out through a soundcraft 200b no eq onto minidisc transferred to cd then ripped at 192kps aac )
If I was supposed to post this in "listen to my stuff", I will, but thought that might be better there if I actually had a completely fleshed out song. This is here only to be, um, a 238 offering.

Hmmmm.
I have a 238 hibernating in my garage, with an Alesis 1622 mixer.
I have maybe 50 songs done on it, about half of which have my ex singing.
I really should archive and remix and make CD's out of them...
But I really don't want to listen to her. (Good voice, tho'.)
Then there's probably another 30 songs done on a Tascam Porta Two (also in the garage)...

got your PM.shedshrine wrote:Hmm...don't know how dbx processed tracks in will come out on a Dolby S deck on the transfer , but if you have no other takers...
i don't think the Dolby S would be worthwhile since these were encoded with DBX.
however, thanks for the offer.
i wish i'd had access to the version with Dolby S when this stuff was laid down!
