source for short cables?
I'm looking for some short (1 - 2') IEC cables and some short (12") ADAT optical cables. Anyone have a good source for this?

I've bought about thirty IEC power cables of various lengths under 3 ft from You-do-it. But always by walking into the store. It might be worth calling them to see if they'll ship to you. Much cheaper than the Hosa IEC cables you find at your big-box music store.
You can also get short cables from Cyberguys.com like these:

The 1 ft length works great if you mount power strips vertically along the rear sides of the rack. And the daisy-chain cables can be really helpful if you run out of sockets in your power strips. But be careful what you daisy-chain, because some devices that draw a lot of power (or spit back a bunch of noise) may be incompatible.

Marlin P Jones (who are the Archie McPhee of electronic surplus weirdness) usually has some foot-long IEC power cables for cheeep.subatomic pieces wrote:I'm looking for some short (1 - 2') IEC cables and some short (12") ADAT optical cables. Anyone have a good source for this?
