Hey gang, I recently discovered that using UAD 1176 All Buttons In mode on bass DI track sounds really cool for rock stuff to get a crunchy distorted sound.

I was wondering if there any free plugins that you use that would do something similar to add life and excitement to DI'd bass.
Any cool eq's? Compressors? Distorion plugs?

i like using the PSP MixSaturator to dirty up a bass track.
