Ever consider using an out of state coloborator to mix the project? I am a chicago Pro-Tools producer & mixer , good gear, great ear and high speed internet access. Plus, it would give the mixes an out of state Chicago influence! Something to think about!

Let me know if you still need someone. I live in S.F., am Pro tools certified, and can be as trippy as needed.

I am an SF producer with many major label credits. My band was also signed to Warner US for four years. I have my own PT tdm rig going through a Neve 5462 console. I am currently producing two bands in Athens but would love to come home for the right project. I'll be done here by next week. I have references.

i'm in a band that would be interested in hearing more options for mixing engineers in the bay area as well -- we did the basic sessions on 2-inch, but we eventually dumped everything to ProTools for overdubs. most of the tracks are *reasonably* straightforward guitar-y pop, with lots of percussion-y overdubs and sometimes lots of vocal tracks. someone with a good ear and the ability to transform our good-natured if sometimes vague requests into concrete results. |
