Adamentium...
I am at work and really bord. Forgive the dork nature of this question.
In regards to the inpeniterable meatle Adamentium...
If wolverine was to slash Captain America's shield what would happen? They are both Adamentium so would nothing happen? would there be sparks? In X-men 2, when Wolverine was fighting that girl wolverine there were sparks. Which means that something was giving...but what? Adamentium is indistructable.

Re: Adamentium...
Actually, Cap'n A's shield is an adamantium/vibranium hybrid - not sure if that would give him an edge or if it could be weakness.

Re: Adamentium...
The hybrid nature of Cap Amer's sheild makes it stronger than pure adamentium. Believe it or don't. My info comes from the Marvel guide circa 1988, as best as I can remember it. Nevertheless, I think Wolverine would still win.[/i]

Re: Adamentium...
While I'm not sure that Adamantium could be made any more resilient than it already is, I suppose that the active properties of Vibranium would make the alloy quite formidible.
That aside, Wolvie's the best there is at what he does (and what he does ain't so nice.) My money's on the mutant.

Re: Adamentium...
thanks guys you are making my boring day job alot more interesting. So there is no question that Wolverine would totally win but, Cap. America's shield is pretty tough and would manage to keep Wolvie's claws back. Great. I should get some sleep tonight.

I figure that even if Sheild=Claws, that personal strength and ingenuity would be the deciding factor.
Um...Wolverine.
