A clue?

Post by leigh » Fri Aug 06, 2010 10:45 am

I've been getting the "unsafe site" warnings too, and Google has flagged the site as well.

I happened across a clue today - try visiting this thread:

http://messageboard.tapeop.com/viewtopi ... enmook.com

When I do, I get this login form on my screen:

So that's how I found the above thread, by searching for benmook...

Or maybe this is completely unrelated, I don't know!

Hi,

On my laptop, my tower, both macs, the website comes up with the warning.

But... on my iPad, it does not. Tomorrow I'll try on Safari on the laptop and tower and see if I get the warnings.

Weird, I tells ya!

Hi,

On Safari Version 5.0 (6533.16) on my Mac tower, it is not giving me any warning messages, only on Firefox version 3.6.8

I hope this helps pin down the issue...

Cheers

we dealt with this problem the day google started hating on us.
we also have a clean bill of health from them but according to them, it can "take some time" for the warning messages to go away. so, depending on where you live and what browser you use, everyone will eventually stop seeing them.

we know. it sucks. there's nothing we can do but wait.

from google:
Status of the latest badware review for this site: A review for this site has finished. The site was found clean. The badware warnings from web search are being removed. Please note that it can take some time for this change to propagate.
