Hey,
How come PMs somtimes sit in the outbox for days? Sometimes they go within a few minutes, other times it seems to take forever (if at all). What accounts for the delays?

i'm not sure about that. we are using an older version of the phpbb software - and haven't upgraded it for many reasons, one being that we're going to be revamping the TOMB in 2012, another being that there are lots of installed mods which were a lot of work to get going.
i would suggest perhaps logging out then back in...???

I always thought that they sat in the "out" box until they were read, and then they appeared in the "sent" box.
