Wye Oak feature

Post by tdbajus » Sun Dec 04, 2011 9:25 pm

Did I miss this? I have a feeling I did, but I can't find it in any of my back copies.

Been trying to mix my latest effort and comparing the mixes to 'Civilian' really bums me out.

Who produced it? Who engineered it? I bought the record as a download from Merge, so i don't have any liner notes.

It was produced by the band, engineered with Chris & Mickey Freeland, and mixed with John Congleton. There was a Congleton feature earlier this year, I believe.

They'd be a good interview for Tape Op! Their earlier records sound great too and were mostly self-recorded. Andy's a very good engineer.
