Is having a clock in the studio inherently a bad idea?

cell phones should be banned from the studio, not just because of the interference, but because they're so damn distracting. quit updating your facebook and pay attention to what's coming out of the speakers.

I don't think it's a bad idea to have one, just as long as you don't place it prominently like in a classroom. It's more for the producer/engineer more than anything else, since they're running the show.

We have three >> all set purposely incorrect .. cell phones don't work well in our area.. So never a prob with those pesky items. One large analog clock is always set at 6:55 because it looks good :lol:') > without a wrist watch ~ hard to know. Just concentrate on the music at hand :D
whatever happened to ~ just push record......
