Selling one of my two MD1As. This one is marked "A" on the bottom; the two sound a bit different from one another. This one has more top end and less bottom of the two - I would generally use this one on vocals and the other on electric instruments. When you get closer to it the proximity effect fills out the low end in a really cool/unusual way. You can see/hear it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVxYGF3CSPs - as you see it is how it was recorded (though video is from a test run; where the audio is the rough mix [all live as seen except for trumpet/accordion {and yes that's a 421 being used as the stand's counterweight.}]) I can send more sound samples if needed.
Comes with power supply and power cables. One of the clip-locks on the cable doesn't spring, but it doesn't affect functionality. Since I got a Bock 251 this mic has only been used twice, so letting it go. $550 + shipping. SOLD
Standard Audio Level-Or. Level-Loc inspired design with less noise and more control. Kinda rules on ambient guitar mics, cartoon explosions on a parallel drum channel, way fun for general mangling. $375 + shipping. SOLD
Mercury EQP1. Pultec styled tube EQ. Do the cool push/pull thing to comically inflate a source without the flab, or be tasteful and euphonic. The power is yours. $1525 + shipping.
All available for pickup in Washington, DC area. Trade items of interest: API 550 EQs, 527/525 comps, Anamod 500 comp, Goldtop Les Pauls... _________________ www.thebastillestudio.com

Only the EQ left. Adding a Moog Voyager or Oberheim TVS as trade wants. _________________ www.thebastillestudio.com |
