This is a good reminder to keep the work AT WORK...
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

The gender isn't really that important, just the engineer part.

That's some truth right there, Stephanie. Based on the posts from most of us men here, our diary entries would probably look a lot more like "hers" than "his"!

I was speaking only of concision. And perhaps, only for myself. :)

Well, yeah, every so often I say "to document the stream of consciousness running through my head would look pretty goofy to the average person," saying how it's usually something like this:

"The voices of the chorus are not conveying a commanding sense of urgency yet-- at best, they're still at 'insistence' and veering a little towards 'I-told-you-so-ism.' They don't sound like they're making it up on the spot-- they don't have a vast sunset in their rear-view mirror-- they're still searching for the nearest rest stop. Their six packs are sitting warm in the sun on the passenger seat. They're worried if they'll get home in time to let the dog out. The compression is trivializing their heartache and the EQ is sapping their will. Well... damn."

I guess the moral of the story is, don't take your work home with you!
