Greets all... I've just lost yet another second-hand MacBook Pro to a motherboard meltdown and am thinking maybe it's time to invest in a brand new computer. I'm looking at getting an iMac this time instead of another laptop.
My question here is... is Mountain Lion compatible with PT8? The AVID site doesn't make it clear, with some message about a new system of digital bodyscans and background checks etc that go way over my analog head.

I would say it is not compatible.
Simply because it is very new, and even PT 10 is not yet compatible either.
