WANTED: Audio Engineer, Music Producer & Studio Manager

We are a Nottingham based independent, Professional Recording Studio designed by KT Slaughter. After long and extensive building & Studio renovation we are now preparing to re-open. The position of studio Manager/Audio Engineer is vacant and we are therefore looking for a person experienced in Audio Engineering, Music Production and Studio Management.

•Audio Engineering experience must include proficiency in relevant modern Software use, Rudiments of Music, at least some Technical Maintenance knowledge, and Miking-up and Recording of Acoustic & Amplified Instruments, Vocals & Voice-Overs.

•It is our plan to establish a web site on which we would like to base a Record Label to include, promote and sell our own production work. Managing this is also part of the job.

•Management and Promotion of the company’s services and product will also be required.

•Knowledge of how the Music Industry works and, if possible, contacts are an advantage.

•The company employs an Audio Engineer & a PA/Book Keeper as Administrator. The Manager is required to liaise with these, as well as the Company Director.

•Candidates must be drivers with their own car and preferably Non-Smokers.

•Being Patient, polite, honest & reliable, with easy going personality, good communication skills and years of experience on all aspects of the job, are needed characteristics.

•Remuneration consists of Low Basic plus %age per recording, %age for Production and %age from Record Label Income. Accommodation is also available to be negotiated in the package, if required.
