I use it sometimes. It adds some interesting texture in the right context.

| Have it, use it... I like it for vocal distortion best. |

So, do you guys place it on the mix bus, individual tracks...???
I actually used it on the mix bus after the Waves PuigChild and it sounds good. When this track goes to mastering I'm going to provide the ME with a few different versions (with and without Magnetic and the Puigchild), however I am definitely digging it.

I typically use it for each track I want to effect, and print it like that.
As to using on Master Buss, when I do put something on the Master buss, I have been using the UAD ATR102, followed by a Waves Ultramaximizer+ set to -1dB threshold and -0.2 output, bring the level up one dB. Typically the ATR does a great job of smelting the mix together.
And as to giving different mix versions to the ME, I don't. I make sure my artist is completely happy with the mix, and then the Me can really just do his thing without going into a complete cluster%^& of indecisions by the artist. Keeps everyone happy.
My philosophy is : Make it right, Right Now.

I used it on a vocal track once, and a couple other individual tracks for effect.
