We're using a Tascam US 1800 interface. I was pretty surprised how good it sounded. _________________ Of course I've had it in the ear before..... |

| If there's an issue with playback speed in the digital realm, you can bet dollars to doughnuts that it's related to sample rate. I just finished a two year program in audio engineering and we had to troubleshoot issues like this on the regular. I second the notion that it could be a discrepancy between what the software is set to and what the hardware settings are. Good call. |

As am I, and with the recent 10.3.2 update my smoothly-operating PT setup has suddenly melted. It's premature for me to be in this thread, but I'm pretty frustrated as I spend time trying to fix it to no avail--reinstallation, trashing preferences, nothing yet....
...Anyway, carry on. |

|
|
I made the switch when my mac and digi001 was outdated, in 2008...I downloaded the demo of Studio One and in an hour was hooked and a song was born..What did it was , at the time, being able to use any interface, and the sound and the Project side of the program and the instruments and the drag and drop and the 64bit processing and bouncing options and and ....sheesh I have used the sh*t out of the program and it keeps getting better with each update..
check it out....sure you will have to clear your mind of any other program to fully embrace the program.javascript:emoticon(' ') _________________ Rob Seifert Gage

I got tired of ProTools and the PC I was using about two years ago and switched to an iMac with Logic Pro 9 and an Apogee interface. It's been a much more enjoyable experience recording since. _________________ http://www.killyrself.com |
