my DAS EFX - real hip hop remix

Post by omari jamal » Sat Jul 12, 2014 10:42 pm

seems like it came out a little dark, but most people are probably listening to soundcloud with earbuds so that's probably okay. also the little organ part during the verses is too loud i think but... i'm willing to let it be at this point.

this is my first soundcloud post. testing the waters for eventually putting out a full lp some time next year.

Sounds like some real 90's boom-bap to me, bruh. Good groove, good mix. Some good lyrical ideas, but my mind is yearning for more knowledge and a much less NPM ("N**ga Per Minute") quotient...

Cool ideas, keep it up, and thanks for not posting any of that trap junk.

Thanks, a 90's vibe is definitely what I'm into. I could never get down with a lot of the new hip hop out there.
