It should be easy enough to input your room dimensions into one of the online room mode calculators. Then start attacking the lowest fundamental you can.
My guess is that you are going to need membrane or Helmholtz absorbers to do any real damage in a cube. I've had great results with HH absorbers that are slightly more broad band...by adding a few random slat/slot sizes you still get a huge benefit but one that is not so sharply focused.
Hope it all goes your way.

Tony, how would those clouds be as gobo's around a kit?
I can see the frame and fabric, is that some kind of board on the top too?
The previous statement is from a guy who records his own, and other projects for fun. No money is made.

Sorry, I just noticed this question. There is nothing on the top..
I think if you were building gobos, you'd want ridged fiberglass, like 703/705

In general, gobos are used to block sound, and therefore have a barrier inside them, also often with absorption outside the barrier so it absorbs highs as well as blockign sound.
In general I find rigid fiberglass (such as OC703) to be easiest to work with, but not necessarily the most cost-effective.

Yeah 703 is so easy to cut and mount, but if you have a deep frame you can use thick insulation instead.
