Join Capital University's student chapter of the AES (Audio Engineering Society) for a free afternoon of workshops and presentations on these topics and more. Whether you're new to audio and music production, or have been in the industry for years, the Music Technology Workshop will have something for everyone. Below is more information about the event, including a link to register and a detailed schedule. Get directions to Capital's campus.

Where: Capital University Conservatory of Music
Time: 1 to 6 pm
Cost: Free

You'll hear and network with industry professionals, as well as students in the Music Technology program at Capital.
  • Audio mixing fundamentals
    Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
    Pro Tools shortcuts
    Podcasting
    Live sound

A highlight of the program will be our keynote presenter, Marc Lacuesta. Marc has made a name for himself in Nashville as a go-to producer and engineer. In particular, Marc focuses much of his expertise on vocal production, having worked with many Grammy-nominated artists.
