My hi-rez downloads are up and running - and this is free!

Well I learned a bit of HTML (I was dragged kicking and screaming into it) and I enabled our site to sell 24-bit downloads and 256k MP3s.

We have a freebie download - 17 tracks from our catalog in 24-bit WAVs (or a physical DVD including stereo surround mixes for $3.99). You can get it here:

PHP seems to limit downloads to 2GB, so we couldn't include the DVD disc image after all.

If you've heard about the hi-rez download movement, here's a chance to check it out for free. And the music is pretty good, too! Let me know what you think.

Congrats on getting it working.

You can get around PHP's default size limits. Check these to Stack Overflow answers. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6527 ... php-script and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5971 ... bly-in-php

Thanks for the info! Now that I've been living with it for awhile, I find that anything near 2GB or above takes too long to download for impatient newbies, so I'm probably going to stick with what I have for now. But I am going to look into it - there may be something in the future that I'll offer that's greater than 2GB.
