juno 60 crackling sliders

Post by joninc » Wed Aug 12, 2015 12:49 pm

hi there - i am getting some pops and bits of random crackling noise from my juno when playing with the filters/resonance/hpf sliders. Also the master volume (which I cleaned a little while back already)

Any tips on how to clean these and what to use?

De-oxit?

thanks!

Going to watch ths one.

The problem I've found with most lubricating cleaners is the tactile (not electrical) resistance of the fader changes, it loses all physical resistance.
The previous statement is from a guy who records his own, and other projects for fun. No money is made.

I've used a lubricating contact cleaner on most of my faders and pots with good results.

Due Ci Electronic R-10 is the one I use, not sure you have this over in a'Merica?

Haven't used 'em, me, but Caig makes DeoxIT? Fader F-Series (formerly CaiLube MCL), and DeoxIT? FaderGrease.

Not to adverstise for 'em, but there's some info I just found, here.
