Logic Pro X problem

Post by OlScrapIron » Mon Aug 24, 2015 9:48 pm

I have looked all over these interwebs and am unable to find a solution....

I am using a UA Apollo and trying to sum my mix with the Dangerous D-Box. Routing should be easy enough... I send all my tracks to busses and then route those busses to stereo outputs. Logic reserves output 1/2 for the "Stereo Output" and this cannot be changed so "Output 3/4" gets sent to "LINE OUT 1/2" and so on until "Output 9/10" gets sent to LINE OUT 7/8. The problem is Output 9/10 always comes back in mono!! If I send any buss (or track for that matter) to any output pair it is in stereo, but output 9/10 is always mono.... Is this a Logic setting or is something going on during summing?

You can change the main output to any output pair you like in

Logic Pro ?> Preferences ?> Audio ?> I/O Assignments ?> Output

I can't help you with the routing at this moment because I'm out of the studio and Logic will only show 2 outputs right now.

I am an idiot I guess. The D-box has panning knobs on the front panel specifically for input 7/8... and I had them in the middle. Dammit.
