need simple mp3 app

Post by floid » Tue Nov 24, 2015 5:05 pm

I'm a computer moron. I could tell my epic take of woe, but the punchline is: i appear to have permanently destroyed Reaper's ability to do so, so I need a simple Windows app to convert my digital masters to mp3. I'm sure it's covered somewhere but, glazed eyes and such.

No idea about windows compatibility but I use a program called Max on Mac. It'll turn any audio file into any other audio file and supports metadata/labelling.

A quick google search for batch converter will probably find you something usable.

You can use Audacity to create MP3s. I'm sure there are simple drag and drop utilities out there to create MP3s but I don't know any off the top of my head and it's exactly the sort of app prone to including adware/spyware. Audacity is solid (open source and useful for many other things).
