KAT percussion KTUI26 isolation headphones

Post by permanent hearing damage » Mon Feb 08, 2016 1:20 pm

any of you folks use these for tracking? i have been using (and frequently breaking) Vic Firth SIH1s for sometime - it seems this is a design flaw. i'm curious if the KAT's have similar issues? i'd gladly pay a little more to not have a pair break every month. also, Vic Firth only offer a warranty of 90 days on those cans - and it's not posted anywhere. feeling pretty sick of giving them my money.

I have been using the extreme isolation headphones for stuff where bleed is an issue (acoustic guitars, drums) and have been really happy with the results. I think they are more comfortable and sound better than the Vic firths.

Don't like em for vocals though.
