Gluing Foam Earpiece Sony Headphones V600

Post by Suntower » Sat Apr 23, 2016 10:11 pm

Hi,

I've got Sony V600 headphones. The foam earpieces have cloth wrapping which holds them to the metal of each earpiece. But the material slides off ever few days.

Any recommendations on a safe/secure glue to hold the cloth in place? By 'safe' I mean:

a) Won't damage black metal

b) Is easily removable when I have to replace the foam again

c) Won't give me earlobe cancer or -whatever-.

TIA,

---JC

non residue Duck tape.

i.e. gaffer tape.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

Good idea. A bit too 'ghetto' for me, though. Hoping for a solution that is not noticeable.

PS: Am I the only one getting an 'Authentication Required' dialog when doing -anything- in this forum?

Driving me bloody nuts

Maybe a couple of tabs of that two sided 3M tape. I've got a guitar pickguard held on with that.

I am not getting that message.

Also, using the gaffer tape by rolling it onto itself creating a double sided sticky stuff might help.

There's a thread regarding the pop-up in the Board forum, ie the forum for the board.

I get it on my tablet, but not on my PC which has adblocker.
