Can anyone help ID this mic?
Can anyone help ID this mic?
Picked this up this morning for $0.50. Came with an Amphenol-branded cord that adapts from the 2-prong mic to a small 3-prong connection (not XLR).
There's a little ring around the bottom where I think a label once lived, but it's gone now. For some reason I'm thinking it's an Electro-Voice of some kind, but I can't remember which model.
Figured someone here would know. Thanks, all!

Yeah, I would agree, the pin and screen scream "EV." No idea on model.
Your "small XLR" could be a tuchel connector... But then again it might not; I had a German mike that I thought was for sure, but the guys at Hinton Instruments in the UK said "No," it was some other "transitional form" (to borrow a phrase from the Richard Dawkins fans...), I forget what it was called.

Every time I look up Tuchel anything, I get a headache. It's the darndest thing.
Here's a side-by-side, the lil' guy on the left and a standard XLR on the right. Can't tell in this photo, but the male end of the lil' guy doesn't have any threading. Just a push-in.
