Whether you are in a laptop based home studio or a multi-million dollar analog studio, Ronan will show you techniques that can dramatically improve the sound of the drums in your mixes. From enhancing great drum recordings to dramatically salvaging bad drum sounds, you will learn how to make the most of your mixing tools to get fantastic drum sounds that serve the song and the overall mix.

Ronan Chris Murphy has been behind the boards for some of the greatest drummers in the world: He has spent decades in the studio recording or mixing the likes of Terry Bozzio (Zappa, Missing Persons), Benny Greb (Moving Parts), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson, XTC, Mr. Mister), Bill Bruford (King Crimson, Yes), Ralph Humphrey (Zappa), Enrique Pla (Irakere), Bill Rieflin (REM, Ministry), Van Romaine (Steve Morse, Enrique Iglesias), Victor Bisetti (Los Lobos, John Doe), Alan White (Yes) and Danny Carey (Tool) (the last two were percussion only).

Ronan, the creator of Recording Boot Camp, has taught intensive recording workshops around the globe since 2003. He recently release ddrumrecordingbootcamp.com which is the most comprehensive online drum recording course ever released. He has been featured in Recording Magazine, TapeOp, Percussioni and many other publications.
