I'm really not a fan of this. I agree that some of the things Apple has done has, in time, served to better our experience. However, replacing the 3.5mm with a proprietary jack is wrong in all the ways, especially for us audio hombres whose jobs rely on a great deal of cross compatibility and open interconnectivity.
I'm bringin' lumberjack back!
