Re: fav input devices
don't know if this is what you mean, but i got a wireless turbo mouse (kensington) off ebay some time ago and i LOVE it.
perfect for the studio too when there's lots of cooks in the kitchen and you want/need to stay outta the way but still work the computer...!

Re: fav input devices
Indeed, I am envious of Hillary's wireless turbo mouse. I envy those with optical track balls too.

Re: fav input devices
i just got this tiny oxygen8 midi controller that i like quite a bit. 2 octaves, runs off usb power, 8 knobs that can be used as midi controllers, and can be used as a midi interface as well. only 139 bucks....
Re: fav input devices
thats what i'm looking for Hillary. Thnx.
the track-pad has got to go.
soundhack - are the knobs on the oxygen useful enough for ya?
and if you don't mind me askin, what software do you find it most useful for?

Re: fav input devices
hey ottokbre - i like attaching them to eq and plugin settings in dp4 and live. for me, its just easier to set fx when i'm grabbing an actual knob (or two or three) rather than mousing the screen.
the oxygen8 is nice if you need something small, portable and cheap. its a very nice match for ableton live. it isn't enough for recording work though. i'll probably be searching for a full control surface soon. maybe one of these
