For a moment there, I thought it was in Houston, and I missed it. That would be the shzit to go to.
Is it a touring exhibit?

yea i thought so too, i thought it said MFA houston where it said boston, i guess because of the whole ~ston ending... but anyway, i don't think it is or was a touring exhibit unfortunately. i looked it up, it seems like it only showed there and that was it.Duc wrote:For a moment there, I thought it was in Houston, and I missed it. but the next best thing is this virtual version of it: http://www.themomi.org/museum/mfa/index2.html
though man, i would have really liked to have gone... that seems so excellent.

Why oh why must you taunt us with this after the fact? I'll just have to make myself content looking at the web content and drooling
Somehow though, I don't think even if I had been at the exhibit that I would have been completely satisfied. I would have wanted to be able to hold and play each and every one of them. But, I'd have at least been able to play one . . . . before security dragged me off . . .

Sadly, it was just a Boston thing. However, you can get a real nice book with photos and history of the guitars presented in the exhibit...
