Healthtalk, Inc. is seeking a highly driven and independently motivated individual who is capable of working well under pressure and tight deadlines. Candidate must also posses a passion for audio, professional demeanor, negotiating skills, detailed organization and most important a The position entails handling live sound responsibilities that include ordering and setting up equipment, mixing live shows and recording. Also, extensive traveling, equipment carting and a flexible schedule are mandatory.

The candidate must have experience with live sound mixing and an extensive knowledge of sound design and audio equipment implementation. Must also be familiar with digital recording on both Mac and PC platforms and cognizant with numerous software recording and editing applications such as Pro Tools LE, Sonar and Wavelab. Responsibilities will also include post production work that will entail digital mixing and mastering as well as audio encoding.

Own portable recording gear (Laptop) a plus.

The position is currently slated as a part time contract position but it has potential to become full time permanent.
