Man, this really does seem to be the gateway to a new era in the biz, if not THE new era. This method makes alot of sense. My only complaint is that Apple should report to SoundScan if the WHOLE album is downloaded. Do they also have some sort of radio network? A radio network that plays whole songs of a certain genre, or even completely random music would be a really good idea. I guess I have one other complaint, that is that these purchases lack the artwork and associated credits and info that go along with a physical album. I for one, love album artwork ( I look around the room and see many CD booklets on the walls as 'artwork') And physical credits are always important, esp to people like us...

The new Ipods play them, and you can covert them to mp3's with Itunes. I am stoked cause Itunes for PC is coming out so I can put them on my computer at work.aurelialuz wrote:i love this. i've heard so many music fans ask for exactly this and it took apple to actually do it. i wish i actually had a device that could play these frickin AAC things.
