so what's going on with the rugs on the walls? are they just hung up? in boxes? looks great, BTW...

Thanks. They're actually not rugs. They're 8' x 4' absorbers. Wood frames stuffed with rock wool and covered in thin tapestry fabric. Just a little homemade treatment...

that's a really nice looking studio, cozy and fun looking environment.

and that studer console looks kick ass. i want one! what do you mostly use it for? please don't tell me "oh, we use it for a headphone amp"... hehe.

It mostly gets used for mic pres. It's the drum kit front-end....
