Hey there,

The Deep Cuts just dropped their guitarist for reliability reasons. We need someone who we can trust to commit time and effort to the project. it wouldn't hurt if they knew their way around all 6 strings of a decent guitar.

The website should give you a good idea of our sound. There are mp3's downloadable, by next week, I'll have video of our first show up there. I still have to edit the two cameras together for that.

anyway... the list of influences that I'd love to have in a guitarist are as follows:

Jeff Buckley, Gary Lucas, Pink Floyd, Tool, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Jerry Cantrell...etc. I'm not looking for a guitar-god. I need someone who can come up with tasty chord voicings, but knows how to play MUSIC using a guitar... not a guitarist that likes music. We're a primarily electronic rock band, and I want someone who is comfortable creating textures, or just playing little noodley parts... simple chords never hurt anyone, but you must have some chops to get what we need done.
